Nice job on this ugly plane!
Is it varnished? Looks a bit glossy, but that's good. What's next? Maybe something from the Pacific War?

Nice build of a often forgotten plane.

Not varnished- just how it printed out.

From a 1/100 modelling legend like yourself, that's a real compliment! Many thanks.

New and improved......?
Thanks C9B!
I tried doing edges with colour pencils- no luck (probably should splash out and buy decent ones instead of the krappy ones I used). Then pastels- looked good until they rubbed right off again. Finally, some Vallejo brand acrylic paint (called Olive Grey- good match) which did the job. Whadda ya think?

Looks good, I use a pencil for most of my edge colouring.

Looks great!
Kacper: The P-35 did see combat in the Pacific War with the Philippine Army Air Corps and with the 34th Pursuit Squadron. The Swedish Flygvapnet also flew P-35s (J9s). I had a close friend, Colonel Klerren Nilsson, who flew J9s as a member of Flygflottilj 9 out of Goteborg in 1940, defending Stockholm and on neutrality patrols along the Swedish border. He told me that the United States took over the second shipment of P-35s and sent them to the Philippines. At the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force in Dayton, I saw photographs of P-35s still in Swedish markings taxying at Del Carmen Airfield, although I am sure they had been repainted by the time they went into combat. I look forward to your next build, Rata. Don |

Great job. I'm sure Alexander Kartveli would be proud.
