Another beautiful model, Michael. And I enjoyed your reminiscences about A-1s in Vietnam. AS mentioned before, I got to see a lot of VNAF A-1s (of the 23rd Tactical Wing from Binh Hoa) in action, as they were the primary fixed-wing close air support for our battalion. Also made an amphibious landing a few hours after an ARCLIGHT mission and my impressions were consistent with yours.

Thanks Don. I hope my comments about artillery didn't upset you but it just always amazed me at how little damage all that noise and smoke left behind. It really does take ground troops to secure anything as fas as I can see. Ireally don't think "Smart" bombs are all that briliant!

That's an amazing Skyrider.I agree with you about fuselage formers.Lack of them isn't making things easy sometimes and they do help a lot.All the more reason to admire those who can build stuff without them.

Great build. Yes I agree with you about the fuel tank. I thought Murph's was too big and used a smaller white one from a different model on my build.

Excellent SPAD Michael. I've got a shelf full of Vietnam war books mostly written by historians who weren't there. I could never dispute or argue their accounts because I wasn't there either so it's a real pleasure to hear a perspective from someone like yourself who was. Don't want to sound like I'm giving you a big, girly e-hug- but you know what I'm saying mate. Thank you.
