Just remember that I'm really cheating here...more plastic model or general model finishing techniques than pure paper model skills. My goal will be to NOT need any putty some day!! I appreciate the support. The Fieseler at least caused some good discussion at today's Seattle IPMS. Mission accomplished... Dan |

You're not "cheating" Dan. Seems to me you're just approaching paper modeling in a different way. When we get dings or glue spots or whatever, many of us (well, me at least) just throw the thing away and start over. You, however, putty, sand & paint and drive on. We learn from each other. You enjoy your way and we enjoy ours and that's what's important. As you continue to build paper models you'll improve. I think your desire to not use putty or paint at all is a worthy goal and certainly reachable. So, relax, grab another model and take your time. You can do it!
