I think you have roundels wrong way around on the wings.Interesting "aluminium"texture -is this yours or Bruno's?

While I'm not sure Cuban aircraft carry markings on their wings, it would be more
correct for a flat edge to face forward, like the fuselage flat face is facing up.

That's what my books are showing ,but maybe this particular plane (or a batch?) was done incorrectly ether in USSR or Czechoslovakia, wherever they came from. It's been done before many, many times.

Cuban Air Force markings are not something that I know anything about. I have been able to find very few photographs on the Internet. Lots of paintings, drawings, and models, but few photographs. The images seem to support all three positions: no roundels on wings, flat side forward, and pointy side forward.
Kacper's image shows the pointy side forward, but this photo of Cuban Stearmans shows the flat side forward: Boeing Images - Stearman Kaydet Trainer, Cuban Airforce Model A73B1. Since my ignorance of the subject is total, I will sit back and see what evidence comes forward. In any event, it is a very nice repaint, and it is kind and generous of you to share it. Don |

Well, it's hard to argue with that evidence...
