Nice Sparrowhawk, now you need to build a 1/100 scale USS Macon or Akron.

Thanks again for another superb write-up Don. What a wonderful chapter of US Navy aviation history these vast airships were.

A 7.85 foot paper model? I DON'T THINK SO SPORT!

I'll be re-doing Bruno's 1/1000 versions (the first attempts were the other 2 models I binned) soon as part of this thread Brent.

Wonderful build.
Mine did not come out as clean as yours. (partly because I don't do edge coloring and partly because I'm more of a designer and a rush-builder)
Well done.

Thanks Bruno for, well, everything.

A thumbs-up from a model's designer is always a welcome ego boost fella!

BTW the next model for this thread will be another B-man job: his Vought O2U-1 Corsair floatplane.

Another beautiful gem for your Garry collection. It is magnificent, and the "pants" as MS calls them, great, they give a good job. Again, very well done!

Thanks Sergio. Yes, the 'pants' and the upper wing gull roots defeated me on the first build attempt. I've found with wheel fairings the best approach is completely remove all drawn join tabs and use small joiners where needed.

I bow to the best interwar builder of century yellow wings. I am anxious about starting on any of these string bags as I hardly master simple antenna wires on ww2 aircraft.
