Hello again,
Finally I finished to make the canopy. It was a lot of hard work and I really did my best to bring this odd canopy to shape. The scale is a little bit small for this thing. Next time it might be better to build this beast in 1:33 . But I hope it will fix quite well to the rest of the Plane. Still I have to make some small improvements, after that the wings can be finally build. |

Thanks a lot, here is the continuation. Im now making the Frame for the wings. There are no big problems so far and the work runs smoothly. I put some solid styrofoam into the wing-frame, so later the gear could be much better fixed on the wings. While the frame was drying I also made the tail.
There was a odd thing by building the frame for the tail together. You have to put one piece through other to get a"crucifix" . But it is impossible, because the one piece is to thick or larger than the another one. (see picture 8 ). I cut it simply i two halfs and put it on every side one half (unfortunately i did not make a picture of that progress). |

Looking at the wonderful job you did with the all glass cockpit pod I salute you my friend. Tackling this build would be an absolute nightmare for me with my current skill level.

Thanks a lot, but belive me I needed many models for practice befor I could make such glass cockpits. And you can always improve yourself. Besides I don't want to make it again on this scale, it is too small

Lots of clear panels on this plane. I'm impressed.
I think it would have been more dramatic in larger 1/33 scale. Isaac

ACCIDENT!!
So, the wings are almost finished. But the was an accident. In a blink of time the model felt out of my hands on the floor!. And the front of the cockpit got a dent. But I carefully bent it back. Thank´s to the thin paper I used for the fuselage, it is very flexible. Was a horrible moment, but the surgery was a success! (see last 3 pictures) Now the gears and a small ladder in the back of the cockpit will be the next step. |

Hi!
The wings remind me of an albatross or a seagull. Interesting design. That was probably also what hit the plane, a big albatross, heh! But really great job on fixing the accident! Impressive! -Radek
