Thumbs up Crimson sky

Anyone play this futuristic back to the future type video game? Are there any kits or anyone on the forum design any of them or similar looking ones? I wonder if there is enough interest in starting them.

I will post it in the other subforums as well

Thanks

Isaac

This was on the forum recently...

Crimson Skies Pandora

Unfortunately, doesn't look like there is anything around.

Gearz also did a Devastator from Crimson Skies...I have both PDFs and, as for the Paper Aircraftwerks Beaufighter Armamment set, am happy to send them to Ecardmodels for distribution if someone is able to contact Gearz and get confirmation that he is happy for this to occur.

Please don't contact me direct for copies as a. we only have limited bandwidth here and b. I need to be sure that the designer is happy for ongoing distribution to occur...

If anybody has good 3-views, I might throw them on my list of oddball planes to design.

Need someone to upload the designs to our site so others casn download and build.

My personal preference is fo a 1/33 or 1/32 scale ( approx because these are pure fantasy planes ).

Thanks

Isaac

They can be uploaded into the library here ONCE the designer has given approval for them to be so distributed...he closing or allowing his website to lapse he may no longer wish to have this models in distribution...

I remember the game well and miss it dearly. It was a great storyline and the visuals were well done for the time. Too bad it never made it to I vaguely recall seeing a paper model of a Blohmm & Voss straight-wing 3-engine prototype that was also very reminiscent of one the Aircraft from Crimson Skies. (others were very Luft '46 in style or seemingly based on prototype concepts that may not have seen the light of day)

Somewhere in my collection I have a devastator that I found through the help of the good folks here and the Wayback Machine. I also have the Pandora.

The BV P.170 is available here Zealot Hobby Forum I have it about 2/3 built and enlarged to 1/32ish - it's a pretty simple build less some fiddly bits around the cowling and is impressively large...my build when on the back-burner after my twin granddaughters got their hands on it and made it 'war weary'...
