Cool Martin B-10, B-12 and 139 in 1/100 Scale Thread

Hi people is a new project and a good oportunity for revise older builds and replace for new with better skills.

Years a go I made a repaint and conversion for B-10 from Fiddlers Green, designed by Aaron, first i made a Martin WH-3 (166) and after a Martin 139 WAN.

B-10 is a good kit designed from FG beside a age (is designed in 2007), capture very well the shape of B-10, but have a problem: the canopy is too short and in same time too high in comparation of real aircraft. So like a Martin 166 I redesing a new canopy, and put in a new build of Martin 139. In 2016 I repaint Martin 166 with correct ML-KNIL colors and now I build...

In this pics some aspects of WIP from both models...

In the next post the results...

Martin 139WH-3 (166) ML-KNIL Sumatra 1942

This version is very different from standart B-10 beacuse a "greenhouse" canopy and more sophisticaded radio and ADF gear, use by ML-KNIl in Sumatra against japanese invasion, is a outclassed bomber for 1940's standarts but Colonial Holland Governemment purchase in mid 30's 85 machines, many are captured by japan intact and sold to Thailand...

Beautiful job, the B10 is such a unique design and the FG kit is pretty good in general except the canopy problem you mentioned.
