F8F Bearcat by GPM

Between finishing one model - the IAF Texan II, and need to finish two others - P39 and SE-a, I am starting a new one - GPM 181 F8F Bearcat.

This is the second "cat" I am building, F4F Wildcat was the first one, and a Flymodel F6F Helcat will follow in the future.

The Bearcat was designed as a carrier interceptor fighter with excellent maneuverability and high rate of climb. To achieve it, Grumman chose the Helcat's 2000 hp engine and merged it to the smallest and lightest airframe possible.

The model up to this point was build "out of the box".

Next will be the wing assembly and landing gear wheels.
