Another great looking soviet aircraft build Isaac. You're doing your usual fantastic build, and build thread. Will you do separate control surfaces on this kit?

Fuselage comparison
Here is the Yak-25 fuselage next to my almost completed Yak-19. Even though the aircraft are very similar in shape and size, the sections are not identical. However, building style of all those 3 Yak planes is identical.
here is a link to my Yak 19 build ( still in progress ). Isaac

Vertical fin and rudder
Here are the parts. Notice that the rudder is separate ( nice feature ) and is made in two sections as the actual plane ( due to the location of the horizontal fin mid way up ).
glued on status also for some reason the fuselage section at the rear got warped/dented/deformed. So I had it printed on a thin paper and just glued it on top using UHU glue. Notice the slight color difference, but I like this repair. Isaac

The repair came out nice and something that I should do with my builds. Usually I just trash the model and start something different instead of persevering.

Wings
The Yak-25 used straight wings as in the Yak 19, but had an inner section with a slight forward angle ( like a P-51 Mustang ). The designer chose to split the wing at that location, so additional glue tabs are used.
parts folded over inner wing section is glued on. A note here: The designer had the wing joining using a butt configuration where the edge wing ribs are glued. I chose not to use that method and rather join the wings first before inserting any support. Also, the red stars and the numbers are on the lower wing both sides. Do not confuse it! Here is the wing root structure and fuselage supported tab installed both wings ready wings attached to the inner center fuselage structure and the fuselage sides notice, that this design has no wing fillets, so mating needs to be exact.
