Fascinating and involved process Mor.
Jumping a bit ahead here, have you thought out yet how to tackle the dreaded wing surface corrugations? On 1/100 TBD's they can just be drawn on but that may not be convincing in this scale.

Good start Shalom... Another old school design, looking good so far, I will follow this one.

Thanks Rata, Mike1158 and solo67.
Have an idea for the wing's surface corrugations, will see if it works. Shalom Mor |

Enjoy seeing your style of creation. It turns out to be an airplane with an interesting history, yesterday I watched the opening of "Against the Sun" where the plane stars, at least in the first few minutes ...

I am guessing that's how it was done in the days before computers... fascinating and very labor intensive. Makes me value vintage kits that much more.

Thanks nickthefix, asaf, Butelczynski, Abir Merlin and Falco.
I will start with two colord pictures from Life magazine found at flickr. To continue with the model - fold out of a fuselage section behined the cockpit and a frame that covers the cockpit. Shalom Mor |
