I was in the mood for something big, so I enjoyed Bruno's heavy bomber series. The first one I got into was, of course, the Flying Fortress.
The first group are two C version models and two E version models with the older Bendix type gun turret.
- Boeing B-17C Flying Fortress (USAAF, 14. BS, Delmonte Field AB, Phillipines, December 1941)
- Boeing Fortress Mk. I (RAF, 90. Squadron, W.Cdr. J. McDougall, Polebrook AB, July 1941)
- Boeing B-17E Flying Fortress (USAAF, 42. BS, 11. BG, Eastern Island, Midway, June 1942)
- Boeing B-17E Flying Fortress (USAAF, 93. BS, 19. BG, Mareeba AB, Australia, September 1942)

Very nice B-17s.

Curious question- anyone knows if any of original Bruno 17s show any of those that got to Pearl harbor during Japanese attack ?

I think one of them does, I'm just not sure which one.

Karol, it would appear it was B-17C and E models involved. Don't think Bruno has any but repaints would be easy enough.
I think '74' was the subject of the best known photos.

Very nice Gerry! Are you considering a Boeing Fortress Mk. I from the Costal Command?

Yes, of course. But it'd be Mk. III, not Mk. I. One of my next versions would be a plane from one of Met Squadrons from Reykjavik base.

Thank you, but if you reconsider the Boeing Fortress Mk. I, I am in.
