I agree. That box art was right on par with Airfix. I'm sure it was Eastern Bloc finest .

And here we have something more modern again... Whoever saw the famous sci-fi The Final Countdown, surely wanted to have a legendary Tomcat with a pirate flag on its tail in their collection. :-) So I got into "cats", too. All the machines have complete stencils, I also added pods and air-to-air armament (in the case of the machine from Iraq also air-to-ground).
- Grumman F-14A Tomcat (US Navy, VF-84 'Jolly Rogers', USS Nimitz, Mediterranean Sea, 1979) - Grumman F-14A Tomcat (US Navy, VF-32 'Fighting Swordsmen', USS John F. Kennedy, Lt. Herman Cook-LtCdr. Steven Collins, 2nd Gulf of Sidra incident, 4.1.1989) - Grumman F-14A Tomcat (US Navy, VF-41 'Black Aces', USS Nimitz, Cdr. Harry Kleeman-Lt. David Venlet, 1st Gulf of Sidra incident, 19.8.1981) - Grumman F-14A Tomcat (US Navy, VF-111 'Sundowners', USS Carl Vinson, Indian Ocean, 1982) - Grumman F-14D Tomcat (US Navy, VF-31 'Tomcatters', USS Abraham Lincoln, LtCdr Mark Burgess - LtCdr Jason Geiger, Operation Iraqi Freedom, 2003)

Didn't Brent make a nice reclors of Su-22 from first Gulf of Sidra incident not long ago?
Bruno made so many Mig-23 versions one of them could possibly be a Libyan too. Great models Jaromir. |
