I've had a debt here for a few months that I've now decided to finish. It's an Austro-Hungarian Hansa-Brandenburg C.I.
The model is now fully completed and in 3 versions:
- Hansa-Brandenburg C.I (k.u.k. Luftfahrtruppen, Flik 1, Hptm Otto Jindra, Russian front, Autumn 1916)
- Hansa-Brandenburg C.I (k.u.k. Luftfahrtruppen, Flik 62/K, San Martino di Castrozza AB, September 1918)
- Hansa-Brandenburg C.I (k.u.k. Luftfahrtruppen, Flik 105/G, Rovereto AB, Italy, early 1918)

It's great to see these Austro-Hungarian aircraft, Gerry. They make me want to re-read John Biggins's The Two-Headed Eagle (In Which Otto Prohaska Takes A Break As The Habsburg Empire's Leading U-Boat Ace And Does Something Even More Thanklessly Dangerous). For those who have not read this delightful and fascinating novel, it features the redoubtable Otto Prohaska flying Hansa Brandenburg C.Is and Lloyd C.IIs.

Very nice change. I have nothing against WW2 planes, but WW1 are very diverse in livery.
Thank you for the fan service!

Thanks Gerry.
These WWI two-seaters are always very attractive.

This is one of Gerry's models so I'm presenting it here. I hope he doesn't mind

This Hurricane is part of the package on ecardmodels:
1/72 and 1/100 Hawker Hurricane "In Foreign Service" (7) Kit Bundle Paper Model - EcardModels

There are photos of this plane crashed supposedly on Finnish side of the front yet somehow it is on display in Murmansk but in very different colors. I wonder what's the story behind it.

Enjoy the pictures.

Thanks for sharing that. Is yours 72nd or 100th? Either way, I'm likely not alone in appreciating being offered the choice of scales with these kits.

It's much closer to 1:50. My fingers don't allow me to handle smaller parts reliably and safely enough. Lucky for me most of Bruno designed models scale up really nice and some of them are a lot closer to real planes than some of much larger scale models.

I absolutely don't mind, on the contrary, I'd love to see my models built. :-)
