Greetings to everyone and here I am with another part of my Japanese odyssey. We are slowly coming to the end. If you're wondering what's still to come, there are 6 more aircraft types (including today's), with the last one probably being a big surprise.
And then I have one more special bonus planned. Keep your fingers crossed that I can make it happen as I plan it. And now today's model. It will be simple. A fast C6N1 Saiun reconnaissance aircraft. There will be three reconnaissance machines and one fighter. - Nakajima C6N1 Saiun (Nippon Kaigun Kōkūtai, 141. Kokutai, Banban AB, Phillipines, March 1945) - Nakajima C6N1 Saiun (Nippon Kaigun Kōkūtai, 343. Kokutai, 4. Teisatsu Hikotai, Matsuyama AB, Japan, March 1945) - Nakajima C6N1 Saiun (Nippon Kaigun Kōkūtai, 762. Kokutai, 11. Teisatsu Hikotai, Kanoya AB, Japan, April 1945) - Nakajima C6N1-S Saiun (Nippon Kaigun Kōkūtai, 302. Kokutai, 3. Hikotai, Kaigun-chūi, Hiroshi Yasuda, Japan, June 1945)

I do like this lot of Japanese aircraft and have purchased all of them as they become available. I do not know how many, if any, I will actually try to build, but I love to browse through my hoard, look at them, look into the history of the aircraft, an build them in my head (imagineering).
Many thanks for these aviation and modeling riches. Don Last edited by Don Boose; 05-26-2024 at 07:18 AM. |
