Gloster Meteor III Fly model-need info

I started work on this old kit. What a confusing mess it is with parts not fitting well. I ditched the double fuselage formers in favor of glue strips.

Still, I don't know the designer original intent on joining the wings to the nacelle, but I will cut out the section where the nacelles join. I also noticed that the fillets there are very thin and may not fully cover the joint, so I will have to be careful.

In any case, it will be built soon.

I started building this model. It is a nightmare with the wings to nacelle arrangements. Nothing is making sense.

I will overcome it, I am sure. But the results will not be pretty.

Anyhow, will see.

Also, I am so busy with restoring and flying an old RC model plane that it keeps me away from paper.




I will post the build of this Meteor on a new thread a bit later.
