Control Tower

After your kind comments about the mini-dioramas I decided to upgrade Old Sacramento for a control tower. Nevertheless, I could not find any pictures of any located in north Africa or Levant, so I reverted to those of the RAF in England. As I mentioned before PR Models have a very nice on, and Mr. Airfix did one in 1/72. I wanted a simpler one so I modified PR Models' and recolored it. So no new planes, just an enhanced setting. Let me know what do you think.

I love this little diorama.

Kampfgruppe144 also has some control towers (similar type) and some hangars in 1:144.

Wonderful diorama Pablo !! Your micro scale is great for this, you can include many things and it will not take up much space.

LeO-451 done!

Thank you Carlos, Sergio, Don and Tony:

I finally finished the LeO-451. The landing gear took sometime.

Here it is with suitable companions may be in North Africa prior to Torch.

And with the French aircraft I have done so far. Still to go a couple of Potez and maybe a Martin 167, but the later requires French camouflage.

Blenheim Mk I

Merci Don / Thank you Don:

Well, I have been distracted a lot, but worthed. The Paragon project took me away for a week or so and then la patrona and las patroncitas (wife and daughters).

For a long time I wanted to do the Blenheim Mk I, even that my sources for Operation Exporter pointed out to Mk IV. I do vastly prefer the look of the Mk I to the Mk IV. But who knows maybe some Mk I were in service during that campaign. This is Bruno's originally in 1/100.

Here it is, and also a comparison with the Beaufighter that had its roots in the Blenheim. I hope you like it.

Bristol Family

Thank you Carlos:

Here is the family of some Bristols that served the desert.
The Bombay carried supplies and troops and mandataries. It even transported SAS men. The Blenheim was the fastest bomber in the RAF for some time, and the Beaufighter a fearsome long range fighter attacking prey under, on, and above the sea.
