Thanks my friends!

Today I build main pieces and paint white edges. After I build upper wing, tomorrow I make interplane elements with jig, and perharps make a rigging. The previous experience make easy the work...

Smile QUANTAS Giant Moth close to the end.

The main construction of the Giant Moth is finished, we can go to rigging and then add the smaller parts that are already built. Again, I used the jig that Aaron provides along with the model that facilitates and accelerates the construction of the interplanes.

Smile Next project (Long Duration) Curtiss Condor

Aaron sent me to test the revamp of the old Oddball model, the Curtiss Condor, I have to test no less than five versions (one I already built and show here) being two commercials, two polar planes used by Admiral Byrd on his expeditions in Antarctica and a YC-30 and an R4Y. The models have the original 1/53 scale, but I reduced it to the 1/100 scale. In the new model Aaron separated the tabs and added formers. The model has a wing jig for gluing the Struts. As he is exactly the same in terms of assembly engineering as the old Oddball, I do not foresee any assembly problems. The first will be the version of America Airways.

I just think it's a shame that Aaron did not do the Chinese and the Latin military versions (Peru, Colombia, Argentina, Honduras), but who knows one day?

About Curtiss Condor Polar plane, here the first a Byrd machine with floats used in first expedition in Antarctica.

I build this model in 2012 or 13...

As it is a long-term project to avoid getting sick and the fact is that biplanes always consume more time in construction, I must alternate with other projects.

Superb work on both Giant Moths, and the Condor is really beautiful!

I particularly like your Golden Age of Aviation models!
