Dear Dave - I saw the movie a couple of times and there was always an argument weather the attacking planes were Panther's or Banshee's - it was clear that it was Panther.
What I didn't really new is that the original mission was done by the F-4U Corsair - thanks for the information ! Yair |

F-2H-2 Banshee build diary images
The Banshee is starting to take shape . The engine bays were completed and the wings were mounted for a pre check before gluing. The tail section will be mounted after the wings.

The Banshee is almost done and few things were left.Overhall I am quite satisfied with the result.Things to complete - ejection seat tail hook some cockpit details and canopy.

Dear Gary - this is the second model of Murph's models and this model is a nice example of his line of models.The model is accurate and a cockpit always make things look better.
