Wow, Lex...those wheels are fantastic. I really like the neat and clean oleo struts too. I'm working on my Dornier Arrow legs now and they sure don't look like your struts! Well done.

Last pieces of the puzzle - the canopy. I used UHU Por for both attaching the frames and also attaching the canopy to the fuselage. Plenty of masking tape was used to help with the placement. I also attached the ventral antenna, with a copper wire inside to hold it in place.
It's nice for this model that the canopy frame has both an outer and an inner piece, with the inner piece using a thinner frame. The end result was very nice. As I still have the molding, anyone interested in a vacform canopy for this model is welcome to PM me. I don't think it's available from any of the major publishers.

Saw the real Curtiss XP-55 Ascender at the Kalamazoo (Michigan) Air Zoo museum, yesterday. Of two built, it is now the only surviving one. Unusual canard design.
