F-86E-5 Sabre by Hobbymodel HELP!!!!

Hello all my friends. I have just started the F-86E model by Hobbymodel. It is a beautiful and complex model. I need help: Anybody out there has building instructions of this model in English? Is anybody else building this model? Thanks in advance.

I just uploaded my translation of the instructions and figure captions to the English Instructions section in Downloads; it will show up after moderation.

I haven't started building this yet. It's beyond my current abilities. The instructions - and the diagrams - are incomplete. There are parts that appear in no build diagram at all - both parts on the part sheets, and wire parts in the bending diagram that I cannot find in any build step. Once I have more experience with models of this complexity I'll give it a go.

Thanks for your information. I agree, it lacks building instructions and the worst part, some parts don't fit. Later today I'll show the problem I'm having with this model.

The model is superb, but the instructions are one of the worst I've seen in 40 years of card modelling!!! Such a complex model deserves in my opinion, a well planned and executed step-by-step building instructions. The so-called "only for experiences modelers" is no excuse because these models are widely sold worldwide and anybody who wants to build this or other similar models, no matter his/her experience could at least build a decent model with step-by-step instructions.

Exclamation

I just built this model after nearly destroying it. It was partially in the trash container and I gave up on this project for 6 months or so. I finally decided to repair it.

My main issue is that it has too many frames, difficulty in applying the fuselage skins in the nose. the graphics is not always clear and mostly me screwing it up.

It is buildable with patience and experience.
Use the pictures of other builders as a guide. Its better than written instructions.

I did manage to repair it though to an "acceptable" status. It's my "build of shame".

I will post the build a bit later on.

Isaac,

You did a pretty good recovery. I would call that nice, a lot better than acceptable.
