Thanks! Yes, it's a pretty cool scheme, prettier than the old red one. There was also the Olympic Games version. They looked like a Super Sentai team/the Power Rangers: blue, black, red, yellow and green with a different mascot on the nose.

More of a build log, except I forgot to take pics of the fuselage assembly :

- form central fuselage,
- form nose cone
- form tail cone
- assemble the nose centre piece
- insert nose centre piece into nose pushing it with the non pointy end of a wood dowel
- correct position of the centre piece with tweezers, glue in position
- insert weight behind nose centre piece
- insert connector strips at both ends of the central fuselage, cut some small tabs
- assemble the 3 elements of the fuselage

I found 2 coloring mistakes:
- Red and white don't align between the nose and central section. It's corrected on the final version. The red on the top of the nose will also be pointier.
- red and white are swapped at the root of the main landing gear doors. Edit svg, copy the revised landing gear to a new file, print at the bottom of another (already printed) model and replace parts. It's not visible but pic #12 shows the wrong ones, pic #13 has the correct ones.

I'm also removing the pylons locations from the final version. Still debating if I should add the chinese national insignia on the wings uppersides. Some pictures show them.

Thank you both! I've added these two plus 2 regular chinese J-7E/G (with PL-8s) to the later J-7/F-7 download.

The Bangladesh AF F-7s are now also updated with missiles (PL-5E & PL-9).

Other boxy aircraft

Dear Carlos, I hope you are feeling better and everything is under control!

Sometimes ships come with goodies in the form of boxy aircraft.
Such is the case of the Icebreaker Soya and the Yacht Christina.
Sometimes by well known designers like PR or R&D, Oliver, Stormeagle or some that I forgot their names
Or may be by me
But boxy not always mean fast or easy to build.

Another project I completed pre-hospital trip was designing a landing gear for Steven75's boxy F-16.

This project is frozen since I haven't had any news from the author since january.

Hi, I was looking around this thread and noticed models from me (About - R & P Models) here and there, so I decided to also contribute with a few of my photos -those who follow me already know them, but in case someone new shows up... Great to see F-7, I just wanted to make one in nigerian air force livery. These WW2 planes by Campeon also look nice, I hope these will also get shared (at least I haven't found them there so I suppose they aren't yet). I recently made some WW1 planes as I got a bit bored of contemporary grey jets and green helicopters.
