Here is a recolor of the JetStar designed by Arungga Bastarsyah, originally at 1/250 and scaled down to 1/400. The VC-140B is a transport for VIPs. This time I used thicker paper for the wings.

If you like it, please let us know!

Thank you so much Pips,
I just could not resist to attempt a conversion to an AD-5 of your Skyrider.
Here it is, a little big headed (this is the first attempt, there may be another).
As Rata mentions, the An-2 is next in line.
Best regards.

I'm travelling so I can't stay on long. Happy Easter everyone!

Very nice, makes me want to do a navy blue Korean War version. Haven't posted in a while but have been busy - I sent a couple of recolor files to R&PModels of collections of airfield vehicles (mostly refuelers) and some special models related to the Vietnam War which complements the new set R&PModels just uploaded.

I have a few more recolor collections to send including Philippine commercial turboprops and a DFS230 glider-themed set, but I'm really proud of my Area 88 anime collection recolors including 1 from CaFe - I'm just waiting for Ringo or Pips to post the first 2 so I don't swamp them with my contributions.

Thanks a lot, Pips,
This is a super classic of transport aircraft, both military and commercial, with over 18,000 produced with its first flight in 1947, still in service, comparable in longevity only to the venerable DC-3 and variants of which. With a mere $30,000 you can buy a real one. Dreaming cost nothing. As I mentioned before the next build was going to be the An-2 scaled to 1/400. A little gem with great potential for recoloring.
