This re-paint of the DC-10 was one that John Bowden and I collaborated on many years ago. One of the first that we did under the MBI name. We did have it for sale on the old ecardmodels site (prior to the big crash). With John's passing, I haven't listed any of the MBI repaints that John and I worked on.

Ray (Texman) was kind enough to list the MBI original F-101, CF-101, and F-106 various liveries that John and I did on ecardmodels. All proceeds from the sales of those kits go to John's family.

Thanks,
Gary

Nice to see some Kiwi planes.

My experience working with Air New Zealand was supporting the GE engines CF-6-80C2F powered B-767 and B-747. Been to the Auckland engine shop many times back in the late 1990's

They also operated the DC-9 and MD-80's at the time.

If I recall they also overhauled Australias F-404 engines from the F/A-18 Hornet.

Fun times.
