GPM 1:33 JU-87D Stuka
Well here is my Stuka I started, this sure is a lot harder to build then the x-15 !
Its really been a good learning experience for me and I have learned a lot so far, I hope you enjoy and thanks for looking. Craig |

Craig,
Nice job on the Stuka! Even the more simple, less detailed versions of this aircraft are not for the faint of heart. Gull wings are a daunting prospect. This I say as I conteplate my first Corsair! Cecil |

Having built over thirty paper Stukas, I'll say that this one looks like it's coming out great! I actually have not built this one yet. I've got it cut out and ready to go, but other projects keep getting in the way.
The muffler on this one was a field modification on the Russian Front. The D and G Stukas had long abandoned their original dive bombing design intent and had shifted to ground attack and support. The superiority of the Russian planes at that point in the conflict forced the Stukas into largely night missions and the muffler was an attempt at better concealment in the night sky. Can't wait to see this one get finished! Keep up the great work. Maybe it will be the kick in the pants I need to get my own finished! Chris |
