Twin booms can be hard to build.I tried P-38,failed.Build T-11 twice from different makes and succeeded.I was surprised Aarons DH Vampire cam together pretty well and easy.

Good luck with yours.Model looks like it's coming together pretty good.

Thanks Butelczynski for the comments. Sorry for the late responce, but I was hopping to show the intakes done. Actually one of them was partially done but the "KEEP OFF" was printed in small leters and not capilal leters, so I removed it.

Hello Mor54,

Not only you picked up an interesting subject (early cold war jet) but obviously you are doing a great designing job using and 'old school methods' if can say that!

By the way I have got an internet friend who is doing a 'flying pipe' called MiG-15 in a 'classic way'.
I am trying to convince him to post it on our forum one day. There is not many young designers, especially those using old school way those days if I am correct...

Thanks Cybermac for your kind words. The early cold war aircraft are of great interest for me, at that time the tehcnology was changing fast and a 10 year aircraft was considered old and be replased.
For the fuselage I am using the "old method" for foldouts and for parts like fuel tanks I am using a simple software.

The Vampire is moving forward and backward. The intakes are done and the model is shaping up.

I am planning to use this model as a base for 3 deraivative models - single seat vampire and venom, and the sea venom. So there are some redesign to do (not only the nose). Puting the model on hold for a time and continuing with the A-7 that was done in parallel.

It's great and a good base for a flying model in my humble opinion.
