lol so you don't know.

Once again, its assumptions and guesses based on nothing, it seems.

Not trying to give you trouble...my interest is for all designers and fair play for all.
If Bruno appeared here, he'd probably give you permission...I don't know, I don't care.
But why not ask before you just assume or guess.

Its just respectful and nice to ask.
Send him an email, its pretty easy to do so.
Go back to the site where the original model is distributed and find whatever permissions are posted there.

But don't post files that you don't own until you have the proper permissions.

Dear All:

For all (I hope) that follows Bruno's One model per (non-working) day we understand that he had two type of models:

free in 1/300 (mostly)
for pay in 1/100 (mostly)

Part of the fun of the more than 2.5 million views it has been the recolors of all the participants during Bruno's tenure.
During his absences many of us recolored his free creations and it was received well by him. Some time ago, he actually put (somewhere) a list of all the recolors produced by the participants.
For the pay models (and correct me if I am wrong) the agreement was half and half of the profit.
Now Bruno is on sabbatical / leave and he has literally thousands of models and we continue producing recolors of his models with the implicit/explicit permission by him always giving credit to the author.
I invite all of you to visit the almost 300 pages of pure modeling joy here:

One model per (non-working) day

And I encourage anyone to keep recoloring S&P and sharing them in the appropriate way: free models here in Papermodelers and for pay in Ecardmodels.

Happy modeling and recoloring!

List put by Bruno

Here is the list put by Bruno about two years ago that includes his models, recolors and other interesting files.
The list is like bates stamping of approval of such recolors.
Best regards.

I never claimed to be an authority or quoted any laws.
I asked a simple question.

Those that get irritated with me repeatedly asking this same question,
are those who don't check for proper permissions,
don't care about proper permissions,
only care about free models,
never buy from designers,
and/or
share files with no consideration of intellectual copyrights.

I will continue to ask this question when I see a file posted without any information about related permissions.

As long as we keep seeing people sharing files without the proper permissions or just because they are "free" files, I will have something to say.
And I will continue to look out for and on the behalf of fellow artists, designers and vendors.

Glad we cleared things up regarding Bruno's models.
