1/144 Fokker Dr1 Triplane
This is one of the kits by Roman Vasyliev (kampfflieger).
Originally 1/72, I rescaled it to 1/144. This Dr1 is in the markings of Ernst Udet. The only additions to this one, I printed the propeller on a wood grain print, and also added the rigging on the main landing gear. Thanks for looking!

I still wonder where you get those giant quarters....
As usual, your builds are great in any scale but especially so in 1/144th. You're an inspiration. |

An excellent build, Flyboy! As always.
But the black-and-white striped upper wing makes me blink. If I look long enough, the wings begin slowly to ripple. "If you read me, rock the tower," as Bob Stevens once said.) Dogface |

Holy Buckets, Ray! The Dr-1 is a small plane in real life, pretty small in 1/32nd and down right tiny in 1/72nd. Now you need a 40x objective on a microscope to see a Dr-1 in 1/144th! That is just incredible.
EXTREMELY well done...Dan |
