I think there is no mismatch on the main gear doors. Bruno designed several landing gears that way.The same thing happened to me with the landing gear of the P-47 Thunderbolt. Score, fold and glue them and then cut it out. One part is the right side cover and the other part is the left side. The longest part is outwards and the small is inwards. Regards, Tony.

That "mismatch" seems to be only on the F-94C kits.

Nope Sir, take a look at the Seversky P-43 Lancer, Republic P-47 Thunderbolt, Pilatus PC-9 landing gears wheel covers among others that needs a cut to form both parts, Regards, Tony.

No, the mismatch is in the actual SHAPE of the two gear doors. They are not the same.

I think it's just the sheer volume of models that Bruno puts out, little things like that are bound to slip through. It's easily corrected just taking the model into photoshop (or your image editing software of choice) and mirroring the one that is correct to get the one for the other side.

All done with the starfire. Now underway with Bruno's old mig-19 with some added landing gear.

MiG-19 finished, the landing gear isn't quite correct but I was feeling lazy and just stole it from a MiG-21.
