Great addition to an unusual WW2 early bomber.
I was always fascinated by the very pronounce angle of the wing chord to the fuselage. This feature was used to increase lift and improve visibility during take off and landing. I am not aware of this feature being used again on any production aircraft as it causes lots of drag in cruise. I do suggest that your design should be also available in 1:33 scale to be consistent with other WW2 bomber models out there ( like the GPM Wellington ). I know it can be scaled up, but the parts may not fit on the page, or the details will be blurry ) Best wishes on the design. Isaac ( now in Florida )

British aircraft industry was known for trying different, unusual and odd looking ideas. Most were fails but some were pretty spectacular successes like Harrier, Mosquito, HP Victor. A lot of them were just relatively short series just to recuperate costs.
Great looking Whitley. I owe you beer if you ever come to Toronto |

You are closing an important gap in paper modeling. And there were 1800+ produced, more than the Hampden. It did lots of first for the RAF. Although I am more to the other side of the spectrum of size preferring the smaller 1/100 or better the 1/300 scales. Looking forward to your release.
By the way, very educational your designing method. Thank you for sharing. |

I think Whitleys were the first ones that flew support missions to resistance groups in occupied Europe. That was a bit before Halifaxes and long before Liberators were used for the purpose.
