Mirage IIIc Ghost Grey - IAF

Happy New Year!

I have collaborated with Isaac and we have completed a repaint of Yoav's Mirage IIIc in ghost grey camo. With both Yoav's and Yaron's permission I've added the repainted kit to the download page here at PM.

The kit is awaiting moderator approval.

Isaac will be posting photos of the repainted kit in the new year.

Happy New Year,
Gary

Thank you Gary for the repaint.

This version of the Israeli Mirage 3c is modified to accept the later variable nozzle area exhaust petals of the Atar 9 engine which was common to the later Mirage 3 and 5 versions. Also, it was painted in the USA grey scheme which was a departure from the 3 tone upper camouflaged colors. Some of the Kfir fighters adopted this grey scheme as well.

So now we have 3 versions of the Mirage 3 ( original camouflage, Silver metallic and this grey version ), as well as a Nesher ( an Israeli Mirage 5 variant ) and two IAI Kfirs ( Mirage 5 with a GE J-79 engine from an F-4 Phantom ).

The mirages are a beautiful examples of elegant delta winged fighter planes.

Here are some graphics and a photo of the actual aircraft rendered.

and a collection of 6 Delta fighters ( the lower green is a SAAB Viggen, soon to be replaced in this photo with the grey Mirage ).

Thank you for providing more details, Isaac. I love the photo of the delta winged aircraft.
