Vickers Vimy
Does Anyone Have or Could design a Scale Model of the iconic, WW1 "Vickers Vimy," Bomber....
I recently attended a heritage day at RAF BIRCHAM NEWTON and was left rather disappointed that the Heritage Centre did not have a model larger than a six inch wing span version of this aircraft on display.... They DID have plenty of Uniforms, Gas Masks, Wall Maps showing where these Aircraft flew to on their Missions - however; NO LARGE SCALE MODEL of WHAT the RAF STATION was FAMED for - " The Vickers Vimy. Bruno has few in his catalogue. Numbers 1018-1020 or something. Pm him. Both military and civil versions including transatlantic flight.

Any time. Make a thread if you build one because models like that are rather rare and we all love ogling(read admiring) and drooling at others work
