Beautifully done, Jim.

The J-3 has a special place in my heart as the airplane I learned to fly in (Piper J 3C-65 N87967 C/N 18-2298 in the summer of 1959) and the only airplane that I ever flew solo.

This is a model of my own design. It is true 1:48 scale. I think it is actually easier to build than the FG model.

Don!
Got any pictures? I can easily put that N-Number on this model.

The DGA Jeep goes well with the L-4 version of this model.

Jim - Follow up to our PM exchange: I am almost positive that "my" Cub had the serial on the wing and not on the fuselage. Wish I had a photo. Don
