Isaac,
Another amazing model. Beautiful work on the landing gear too, they turned out great. I do love those glam shots. Thank you for another detailed build thread with some tips/tricks, and great photos! Gary

The DC-9 will be built right after Gary's Mig-17 repaint. So maybe next month. Isaac

ComAir CRJ-200 next
As a follow up to this Air Canada repaint by Gary ( aka MacSongLi ), I asked him to repaint the model again, but in ComAir colors. Gary did so and what a superb coloring. Building it as we speak and pics soon.
I have flown on ComAir planes in and out of Cincinnati airport ( CVG ) which happens to be in Covington Kentucky, numerous times and wanted to build one. In addition, a pilot friend of mine flew those planes for years while also working with me at GE when I worked on the various engine projects and also did part time support to Flight Operations. Here is a link to the airline history and demise. Comair - Wikipedia Of interest, ComAir was the launch customer and biggest operator of the CRJ-100 version. Like many air operators that started small and got big fast, ComAir was ultimately swallowed up by Delta Airlines and during the 90's boom of regional jet flying everything was fine. There were multiple issues with the pilots and those were never really integrated into one pool. However, as soon as Delta got hit by the realities of the early 2000 ( after 9/11 ), they took ComAir down with them into bankruptcy. Delta survived, but ComAir ceased to exist as an entity. Isaac

Isaac,
It was a fun re-paint, with some challenges. I'm looking forward to another great build thread. Gary

You have done a magnificent job on the repaints. Your renderings are getting better and better. These airliners are a nice change from military planes. Thank you Isaac
