Halinski Curtiss Tomahawk IIB: A slow but steady build: FINISH!!

Here it is. Man, I love this model. It could certainly be improved here and there but now that I've finished a "dreaded" Halinski kit (not the quality...just the complexity), I'm more than pleased with the result. Sadly, now I want to start another one tonight. A Zero or an Me-110 or a Ki-84 or a P-39 or a Val or a...

Once you've tried one of these, it's really hard to build anything else. These kits just need time and patience and really do make the builder look much better than they are. Just lovely and I hope the company keeps putting out new models like...a Halifax or a Liberator or a Lancaster or a Catalina or a Lysander or a Beaufort...maybe break into some cool WWI offerings. They'd be so sweet.

Anyway, thanks for looking and the encouragement along the way. Let's see if we can do better on the next one!

Dan

Great work... I agree with you once you build one from Halinski's collection it is hard not to be tempted to build another one.... ,and indeed they models are all about patience, but results are amazing..

Outstanding, Dan!

It has been a great pleasure to watch you build this challenging and complex model. The end result was worth the effort.

I look forward to the net build.

Wonderful result Dan! You can truly be proud of yourself. I share your sentiments regarding Halinski, once done one, it changes your perspective on paper modeling. You inspired me to start one myself and the build thread is about to start...

Looking forward to seeing your next build .

Cheers,
Erik
