Long time that I haven't touched my Dc-9s.

Just for fun, I followed the life of a single DC-9-34CF and found that it belonged to Aviaco (2 liveries), Iberia and Austral (2 liveries). So, I have now nine Dc-9-30 liveries to do.

I expect to finish Iberia and Austral first. Then, if my Saro London still isn't ready to release, the rest.

Just finished my first Dc-9-21, SAS OY-KIA.
As I said, and just because, my first four Dc-9-21 are going to be the same plane, the prototype of the Dc-9-20.
The only thing that's going to change is the owners of the plane: Douglas, 2 incarnations in SAS, and one with Aeropostal.

BTW, the font of Scandinavian is not a normal font, so I had to upload flighter.ttf to be able to finish this plane. So, next week you'll be able to download Guttom Viking!

My first Dc-9-21 model, OY-KIA, has been publised today in ecardmodels.

My future plans about the Dc-9/Ms is to rework the wings roots to allow the Dc-9-33CF and Dc-9-51 models. Another plan is to start the MD-80 design, maybe next month.

Working in another proyects doesn't mean that I have forgotten my plans of designing the MD-80s.
Here is an interesting picture that shows what happens when you want to open the rear stair and you pull the emergency exit instead.

My present and future plans about the Dc-9 series:

First, the Dc-9-31 from Grand Airways is finished, will be uploaded to ecardmodels today.

Second, my Dc-9-14 from Finnair and Dc-9-31 from TAA are in process.

There are a lot of Dc-9 selected, but first I need to rework the wings roots to allow the Dc-9-33CF and Dc-9-51 models, because these models have a change in the wing root, they have not two wing roots but just a bigger one that covers all the belly.

Another plan is to start the MD-80 design. It will include a rework of the cockpit area. The actual one was designed to include a floor and door cockpit. But, as nobody have done the cockpit upgrade (that I know), I'll remove that parts, simplifying the build.

And last, there is going to be a combo of the tree tricolor planes from Aserca. Each of them has the engines and the tail section in a different color secuence.

Today ecardmodels has made new releases of the Dc-9. They included the Dc-9-31 from Grand Airways and three packs of planes with a discount in the price.
Enjoy!
