Air group on Chinese Aircraft Carrier Liaoning by Tekzo, 1/1250
I'll be starting the Liaoning project some day but would present the air group first to see if they are doable at such a minute scale. And they are. Improvements on my work on these tiny thing is expected as I go along building them - J-15 x20, J-20x6 and Z-18 x 6.
Some enhancements are done on these tiny planes and helo. As soon as I have completed all of them (to be placed on deck), I'll start working on the carrier itself. So this is perhaps a mixed thread of aviation and ship. BTW, the original scale of Tekzo's Liaoning is 1/800 and I shrink it down to 1/1250 to be in line with my collection of 1/1250 ships. Another good reason for me is that I don't have to split the deck when gluing the deck templates together. |

WOW! Those are amazing papermate. It's unbelievable that you can't do that at 1/1250.

Thanks, Gary. I think that's the limit for me but maybe someone can do it at 1/1500+

手艺真不错,这么小做出来很费眼吧?😂
另外,如果你需要比例稍大一些的歼15,我这里有一个重涂自Ojimak的版本 |

Wow, and some people think 1/400 is too small!

Thanks, guys.
@Xiaoyang, thank you for your offer. But I'm not going to make them larger as they don't fit on my 1/1250 carrier. And, you'll likely be advised to provide English translation of your post here since this is an English forum. Not that I'm against anything, but rules are rules. |

my eyes hurt when I build for 1:800, but I can't imagine when you make smaller. The fuselage so perfect.
Thank you for your work |
