The model is finished, and finally, I found some time to post the results.
Let's start with a few words about the building process, kit's design, and various difficulties. The YG-model kit is not excellent and not bad. Nice textures, solid construction, decent detailing - those are definitely the good side of this Yak. However, on the other hand, the kit has its flaws. Some parts just do not fit properly and the internal structures are also a bit too large...
This model requires a lot of skill from modeler. In my opinion, it's not for beginners.

As the title says, the model recreates Yak-7B flown in the Stalingrad Front, in 1942, by 1st.Lt. V.A. Orekhov.
Thanks for following this thread, I hope you enjoyed it!

I am brand new to card modeling and found your Yak model to be beautiful, Zenon. Congratulations on a fine finish.
May I ask, do you scratch build the canopy and windscreen, or are they purchased separately?

The canopy and windscreen are scratchbuilt. I always do these parts of planes this way. To make them, I usually use plastic bottles, blister packs, etc. Any kind of transparent plastic.
Visit this link with my B-17: B-17G Flying Fortress, 447th Bombardment Group, RAF Rattlesden, England
There are some photos showing how do I make the transparent elements.
