Thank you! @ wireandpaper, i actually found out very little info about the dragon scheme—it was even hard to find pictures! A lot of ghiblis received some pretty fancy colors in the italian air force (and i will try to make a couple more special schemes) but the dragon was the most striking to me

Just finished the brazilian amx A-1: attached is the build and the file. I couldn't be certain whether the camo is wraparound or only on the top of the wings and stabilizers, so i included both

Thank you very much!!!!

Hi Paperenginer:

Very nice, I printed your model in 1/400 and I am going to give it a try, but I am not sure about the results. It is very detail.
About the undersurface of the Brazilian version I think they are clear without the wrap around but the expert opinion of Pericles is required.
Nevertheless I found some schemes by Hobbyboss:

Best regards, and thank you for all this somewhat forgotten important types!

Thanks for the info! I will have to use the wrapless camo on future A-1s. Good luck with your tiny build i would recommend at least simplifying the landing gear and ifr probe, theyre hard for me in 1/200!

Haven't built these yet, but I just finished two more special Ghibli recolors: one to commemorate 30 years of the Ghibli (top), the other a demonstrator before full-scale production commenced (bottom). All of these artistic tails have been sharpening my recoloring skills! More to come

One more before I call it a night
This one is another special livery commissioned to celebrate the type's 30th anniversary. The tail art is a bit intricate for the scale, so I included a 1/100 version (I'm guessing at least a couple of you will be happy about that) I haven't tried upscaling the model yet, but considering the fencer and finback both seemed to scale up smoothly, I don't expect any major issues

Muchas gracias / Thanks a lot

Pretty nice paterns, but in my case I am going to stay with the simpler classic decorations.
I am sure that more adventurer modelers would like the colorfull planes.

By the way, a good companion to the Brazilian model would be the Embraer C-390.
Unfortunatelly, I lost the link to the paper model.
Anyone remember?

For the Italian, the C-27 in the Download section by Paragon could be the companion (although it may require recolor, and maybe backdating to Aeritalia G.222 with triblade propellers) .
