Are there more repaints coming ?

To put this thread into context , I have scrolled through the aviation section of the download , to be more specific , the jet section. I noticed that the section has been quite stagnant for a while , so... I was wondering if there is any more repaints coming along?

One more thing though , I know this is not really part of the topic but I did plan out the title of this thread , but not very like , let's just say different. To be honest I have no idea how to describe it but, ok.

It all depends on designers' time, interest, and if they feel like sharing their work, they see a lot of downloads, but not a lot of praise for their work in the form of build threads or beauty shots of a finished model, so they might have gotten discouraged posting new models.

IMHO, if you ask for a model or a repaint, you are expected to build it and share the results. With the pertinent credits to designer and recolorist.

Plus, many model designers and recolorers publish their work on specialized websites, especially on Ecardmodels.

I do agree with all the points mention, designers do get discourage at times , like an example that I know is that Hermercraft had lost interest in papercrafting for a period of time before being regaining the interest.

I do wish all the designers and recolorers get the credits and praises , but sometimes they don't get the credits and praises they deserve , which is quite sad to see.

I doubt he ever lost interest... He works in the Aviation Maintenace industry (grants him brilliant access to details!!) and I think he also has University work. He works on his paper models in his limited free time, and whenever he releases anything, dozens of repaints are done by the repainters in a very short period of time. So I don't think there's been any lack of activity, it's just that the majority of Hermercraft repainters aren't registered/active members here.

You are correct , he doesn't lose the his interest. The reason I mention that he had lost the interest , is because of like a facebook post he made on 2 November 2020 , he said that he had lost a big motivation , when he lost interest in youtube. Maybe my example that I gave wasn't the best.
