Scissors and Planes' V-22 -- 1/200 with mods

Recently i got a position as an engineer for the V-22 osprey and this bird has consumed my life ever since i had low expectations for this model being upscaled, but it all fit together surprisingly well! I added landing gear and cleaned up some panel lines, but not much so far. More to come though—i plan on doing a few recolors and i'm trying to get my next osprey to have tilting nacelles and a pivoting wing section!

I do plan to post the pdf later, just need to clean up the doc a little bit

this looks beautiful. How do you use a picture for texture?
and, can it be vectored?

Thanks, stormeagle. I actually drew all of it myself--I was originally trying to make a recolor of Yoav's F-15 in early January but the files were too heavy because of all of the gradients and all of the rivets and such. I made a bitmap copy of my work on Yoav's eagle and basically overlaid it on top of Bruno's in order to get this result. I guess that the bitmap nature of it means it wouldn't scale up super well, but because it's shrunken from 1:30 (Yoav scale) it should still look fine up to 1/50 or so

I finished the recolor a couple hours ago, but when I export to pdf then my computer says I can't open the pdf I will have to play with it a little more and see if I can get it to work. It'd be a shame to not be able to build this..

EDIT: I made bitmap copies of the pages I did and I shrank it to 1/200 scale so it's less blurry. Still far from ideal, but I can at least check the alignment and have something to show for my effort

As I said.....excellent work. I hope you resolve the glitches in PDF...
I had some hard time when designing Greek anniversary models as they looked fine in 1/100 but once shrunk in 1/300 the lines with fixed width messed up all....had to use overlapping shapes for everything, even for simple lines...to keep it scalable.

That´s because the final product is a heavy archive and Inkscape can´t handle it.

Finished building the f-15dj i didn't use the best printer but i am still satisfied with the results. All of the misalignments are small and really just building errors (the -15s are really hard in this scale!)
