WW I aircraft

I've been watching a series about restoring Warbirds. I thought I would have a go at a WWI "chewing gum and string" type.

Any ideas on a good site that sells kits?

And what would be a good scale for a wing span of about 10 inches (25 CM)

Cheers
Mike

There are quite a few on ecardmodels or you could try Marcle Models here in the UK - not digital but a quick turnaround. There are also a few on the download section of this site.
I think 10” sounds like about 1/33 or thereabouts. Tally Ho!

Several well done WW1 aircraft papermodels are available on the "Landships II" web site.
Also take a look at Murph's Models and of course, Fiddler's Green (http://www.fiddlersgreen.net).

Ten inches sounds more like a 1/25 to me, WWI aircraft were small.

At that wingspan a Fokker Dr.I would be at 1/28
and a Sopwith Camel at 1/34.
So, for consistency my pic would be 1/33.
You also may want to check here with for printed 1/33 and 1/32 models:

1:33/1:32-Propellerflugzeuge

My bad I was thinking about length. Go to Leif Ohlsson on this site under downloads and he has a very nice Sopwith Triplane that can be downloaded.
