There are paper models available out there that approach this level of complexity in the textures - the 'Hekla Aurora' 757 and the R2-D2 787 from Hermercraft. I think there are some all-over flag decorated helicopters amongst Brent and Murph's creations too? But for something like this I'd be thinking about trying to hand paint it with the aid of stencils.
