A beautiful looking fuselage Isaac. Once again, very nice work.

Exclamation Nose gear bay

As a reminder, none of Yoav's designs come with landing gears or bay, so for us that wish to pose the plane on the ground, you are on your own.

However, there is some similarity with the A-4N model in 1/32 scale that was designed by Zarkov. I purchased that kit some years ago, so printing the part and slightly enlarging it made it a bit easier.

first, cut out the doors from the bottom ( I left a small piece so the fuselage is still connected; it will be removed later

The front end looks nice with the pilot's office added. I'm glad that it won't be a tail dragger.

It's a lesson learned at a very early age. Always add weights in the nose. Paper or plastic tricycle gear planes.

Cool Fuselage joining

Now that we have the front and back laves, it's time to join them. A closer look showed me that the connection using only the lower tabs will not be strong at this point especially with the nose weights ( the design relies on the two side inlets to support the joint, but that comes later ).

my solution which I used for these type of fuselages is to insert a wood dowel in between

here is the process:
