I have to admit I had a lot of trouble building the FG model (I gave up in the end) so full credit to you for managing to complete yours.
I have have very limited model design skills, but fortunately as this plane's fuselage is a simple round teardrop shape, I was able to produce my own version using a free online cone calculator program. Flattish components like wings and tails are less of a problem for me so in the end I was able to come up with a complete, albeit simplified and basic model that passes for a Boeing P-26.
You P-26 are beautiful and make in some aspects the real "spirit" of Scissors and Planes models, well done my friend!

Thanks! Indeed, the aviation of interwars is amazing and fascinating subject, I like a lot.

Thanks for the kind words my friend!

Finally I make general build of ROCAF P-26, beside the flaws of model fuselage (the middle section need adjust in diameter and step in dorsal back in rear fuselage) I think the construction is acceptable.

Looks good. I see the issue with the center section of the fuselage, but you have adjusted the diameter very deftly. The overall appearance of the model is excellent.

Thanks my friends! I think the cables and other elements close the small gaps and issues. I hope resume soon.

This project had been on hold since October of last year, and I decided to resume it. Construction has progressed well enough to the point where we can now start painting the white corners and work on the cables and other remaining details.

Despite the short time I've had it, and the small flaws that this model has, amply demonstrated here, I'm enjoying the results.

Hello friends!

After a hiatus I resume ROCAF Boeing Model 281, I painted all white edges. And today I start build of remaining small parts and rigging.

The Master at work!

You are producing a mighty fine 中國豌豆射手 (Zhōngguó wāndòu shèshŏu -which MAY mean "Chinese Peashooter").

Or maybe "Chinese groundnut archer," but a great model in any case.
