Bruno originally released a 1/1000 model of the rigid US Navy airship USS Akron along with her sister USS Macon in the same scale. I've enlarged the USS Akron to 1/800, gave a bit more of a 'silverized' appearance to her skin, added a couple of bulkheads to assist rigidity and added a little representation of a Curtiss F9C Sparrowhawk to hang off the launch and recovery trapeze that was part of these fascinating giant flying aircraft carriers. The finished model is a shade under 1 ft (30cm) long.

Currently available from Ecards for one US buck.
Very nice touch of the Sparrowhawk!

Great work.I don't think i've seen those stripes on P.11 before.Nice choice.

I was surprised how easily my own P.11a went.Good design helps a lot lol

Most WWII Spitfires wore camo paint, but some had a silver (metal or dope) finish. This post-war Mk.XVIe of the Central Gunnery School was one of them.

This is Bruno's Kyushu J7W1 Shinden (Magnificent Lightning). Only two prototypes were completed of this beauty with only one making two short flights totalling 45 minutes.
I've decorated this model with some fictional operational markings. Currently available at Ecards.
