I'm not much into jets but I'm very much into aviation films and one of them contains beautiful shots of Danish T-33 trainers on flight. Film is 1961 Jetpiloter

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tp2K61kC4Fw

Notice Orange Glow wingtips, tanks on them and wide fuselage band. From little info I found those are from days when Danish pilots trained regularly in Greenland. Training flights also included Iceland but for what purpose I never found.

Pretty jet. There is no doubt about it.

Thanks for looking in and commenting everybody. Always appreciate the interest and support.
Anyhoo, before I start on the T-33 recolours, I just had to do this 'what if': Bruno's recent Romanian IAR-15 prototype to me just cried out for some treatment. Enclosed cockpit and wing guns were the order of the day.

On the build front I've started cutting on one of Gerry's S&P repaints in the form of a D-Day C-47 'Kilroy is Here'.

After that back to a Le Criquet French gem.

Currently on three weeks annual leave so taking full advantage of time on hand.

One of Gerry Paper Models neat recolours of the Scissors & Planes Douglas C-47. This is 'Kilroy Is Here', a D-Day striped C-47A of the 439th TCG operating out of Upottery East Devon 1944.

Model is currently available at Ecards:
1/72 and 1/100 Douglas C-47 Skytrain in ETO (4) Kit Bundle Paper Model - EcardModels

Thanks Bruno and Jaromir!

Beaujtiful work on the C-47 (not an easy airplane to build in paper I have heard).

I look forward to seeing the Caudron C.193.
