I just use photoshop to edit the parts created after the scratch build and for repaint, ive tryed pepakura but find it more demanding than scratch build. i guess it all depends on the designer and which method is more famimiar

Deux ponts progress. There isnīt much info about the deux ponts so, blueprints for lower engine nacelles had to be created , textures for recolor come from microsoft flight sim aircraft.

More on rollation
It is fascinating to see your methodology step-by-step, YK.
Today, reading one of Abhovi's Dutch sailing ship threads, I realized that he uses the same time-honored method of non-computer rollation to develop the hulls of his ships. If you go to his relevant post (http://www.papermodelers.com/forum/754414-post28.html) and click on "Knippen_plakken_A4-lowres.pdf", you will be transported to Abhovi's magnificent book on Dutch maritime history. Go to Page 2 and in Image 4 you will see him rollating a hull panel just as you have been developing the fuselage panels for your Breguet transport pane. Don |

Following with great interest. I'm hoping at some point to be able to tackle my own much less ambitious scratch build like a small racing type if I can glean enough info from threads like this.
Thanks for taking the time to explain.

question about the texture you are referencing.
are you using the texture as a guide in painting your model? or have you asked the original creator of the texture that you can use his work in your future premium model?
