Nice pair of models Pér. The B-25 looks great mate.

The SEV-2 was a one-off built specially for Doolittle as a high speed liaison aircraft for his Shell Oil Co activities.

With personal markings, serial numbers, etc. I once prepared them for my Hormet model, which I have not yet (oh what a surprise :-D) built.
Hello my dear friend! I find it interesting to offer the B-25 squadron (I actually wanted them all in 1/100)

This aircraft was commanded by Captain Edward J. "Ski" York, it's pilot and was additionally crewed by Lieutenant Robert Emmens, co-pilot; Lieutenant Nolan A. Herndon, bombardier/navigator; Sergeant Theodore H. Laban, flight engineer/gunner; and Sergeant David W. Pohl, gunner. Interestingly enough, they were a replacement crew for an aircraft that was belly landed just before the flight to California to be put aboard the USS Hornet. A number of the texts skip over the fact that there were replacements that flew the raid. This was also true of at least one other crew.

There are "interesting" theories about there being secret orders for Capt. York to land in Russia, but I'm not personally convinced that's accurate.

Attached is a look at a painting that his wife gave me in San Antonio almost 20 years ago.

Well friends!

Continuing with my Midway collection, the most recent work is a plane that was in the order of battle but had no direct involvement in the conflict. The Mitsubishi A5M "Claude" was the standard fighter of the Imperial Japanese Navy from 1937 to 1940. In 1942 many still operated in front-line units, notably in Kokutais, but still despite being obsolete and supplanted by the A6M "Zero" two-door. -planes had "Claudes" in their air groups. The Claudes from the carrier Hosho were actively used in the Battle of the Coral Sea, and those from the Zuiho were used for CAP when this carrier formed part of the main body of the Midway Invasion Fleet. Used at least once to intercept PBY Catalinas from VP-44s that were observing and monitoring the Japanese main fleet at the end of the Battle of Midway.
