A few more sailplanes to add to the group. GPM 222 and 225, the Grunau Baby IIB and the Jezyk. The Jezyk is just a repaint of the Baby. Both kits have both 1/33 and 1/50 scale models included.

Newest glider on the airfield, the SZD-18 Czajka. GPM kit 224. Instructions not too good, but parts fit together well enough.

I haven't gone soaring in many a year, so I envy you. I only got to fly a 2-33 once, mostly I flew Schweizer 2-34 and 1-26. I was working on a Moneri way back when, but then I got married. I probably should have stayed with soaring. Would have been cheaper.

It's a brick lol

Yeah it's a fun tow up ....but a brick coming down. We wench launch from Phosphate dirt piles or get a tow from a local sign towing company.

Hope You get up again soon....it's my favorite view of the world with the motor sound.

Be safe! And looking forward to more of Your work.

My latest build, and the last of my GPM sailplanes, the Merle. Built in 1940, I believe there are some still flying today. Nice lines, looks like a fun flyer.

Now that I'm done with the GPM line of gliders, it's time for a little French flair. The Castel C.25S, available for free download from CASTEL C.25 S - SABA Modellbau. Both are 1/33 scale. While you are there, you may as well pick up their excellent Air Force Academy Chapel, also a free download

Nice Job on all these sailplanes, the most recent Castel C.25 struck a note.
As a fan of "La Grande Vadrouille" (the Great Wandering), I always wondered what sailplanes were used in the films' ending. By coincidence, I just rewatched this video a few days ago. Now My question has been answered before it was asked! Thanks for the link; I now have this in My 'to-do' pile. 2023 will mark 40 years since the passing of Louis De Funes, so this might move to the top of the pile.
